Her clothing features charming designs and sayings, often riffing on familiar terms of endearment and combining it with a cute graphic. My favorite is the “You are My Sunshine” shirt. Probably because I love to sing that song to my own kids! Or how about this “Cutie Pie” shirt, featuring a picture of a piece of pie?
At ALaineDesigns you will find long-sleeved outfits, such as this union suit embellished with handprints. She has also recently listed some super-cute seasonal items for Halloween: black cats, jack o’lanterns, and ghosts!
Jessica at ALaineDesigns is another one of those wonderful Etsy sellers who generously donate to the Etsy Baby Shower. For my little girl, she sent her signature “Twosies Tin.” I simply love this idea: two nifty onesies that have been snazzily packaged in a reusable tin, perfect for gift-giving! She lets you choose whichever onesie designs you like best, which makes for a lovely touch.
AlaineDesigns also makes personalized tote bags and many of her clothing designs can be customized as well with a child’s name, such as this sweet nametag design: here. Jessica is very friendly and she welcomes custom designs. So don’t hesitate to contact “Arden’s Mommy” if you have a design you’d like her to make for the wee one(s) in your life!

BumblebeeBaby Boutique

BumblebeeBaby Boutique is a generous member of the Etsy community. Lindsey participates in the periodic Etsy Baby Shower -- this last round, I was the lucky recipient of one of her taggie blankets. They are colorful, snuggly, and made to last. Lindsey calls them Loopy Lovies, and my baby gives hers two chubby thumbs up!
At BumblebeeBaby Boutique, you will also find baby washcloths, burp cloths, and diaper cakes. I like how she uses size 2 diapers, so the cake can be left up as nursery décor for a while. If you like, she will also customize a cake with added elements such as baby booties, nail clippers, or soap. Perfect for a baby shower gift!

I love her summer hats. This hat is far from the standard baby hat. " Shade your little one's face from the sun with a super-fashionable "European style" hat!" And also see her matching soft shoes.

**Stay shady in this Blue Visor Sun Hat Hat from Sugar Plum Baby.
**Don’t you just want to get wet and swim with this Fishy Baby Bib by Posh Kids Co.
**This fun Watermelon Hair Band from Fate Goddess is making me hungry for some juicy melon.

Being a sea person myself I couldn't pass up this Silly Sea Turtle design when I came across it. I love the fact that LemonsandLollis will donate $5.00 for every sale of a Silly Sea Turtle collection item to benefit Sea Turtle Preservation.
Another favorite is the Shabby Chic ABC blocks. I've had my eye on these and think they would be a great baby shower gift.

StoryBlox
Posted Thursday, May 31, 2007
My son loves his set of StoryBlox, and we both have lots of fun playing with them. He is a very kinesthetic learner; he loves to manipulate his numbers and letters as he counts or sings the alphabet song. StoryBlox, like all alphabet blocks, are perfect for that kind of play. But StoryBlox have put a unique spin on this timeless toy. The blocks have letters, numbers, or symbols on two of each cube’s six sides, and the other sides have things like nursery rhymes, pictures, song lyrics, or sentence fragments. These blocks are truly a toy that will grow with a child, and they are fun for toddlers and older kids alike, as well as for many adults I know!
If you’re looking for an heirloom quality toy that will appeal to the classic kid in all of us, check out the Classic Nursery Rhymes set of StoryBlox.
StoryBlox offers many customized options, from birth announcement blocks to publishing your own children’s stories on a set of blocks. I also really like the way that Tammy has found a way to recycle crayons. Check out these adorable
CRAYO-flowers:
I first met Tammy through Etsy’s Coproduction Contest, when we worked on a team to produce a special set of her blocks. When I received my set in the mail, I was delighted by the superior quality of the blocks. The painting is colorful and crisp, and the blocks have a nice, solid feel to them. There’s just something satisfying about well-made wooden toys like those you’ll find at StoryBlox!
Seaside Quilts

As you can see in her “Opposites Attract” Quilt, her quilts feature stunning colors and patterns. Not only does she create beautiful quilts, but she also has custom made (stamped, painted, and sewn) onesies, bibs, and burp cloths.
I, personally, have to say my favorite items are her “I Spy” quilts! What an original, fun, and educational idea!

The Quilted Lion
Posted Monday, February 19, 2007
Shop owner and operator, Donna, is from Pennsylvania. She works full time and is currently a mom to two dogs while she and her husband await the arrival of human children. One day she’ll be able to take some time off from her day job and devote more time to support her habit of fabric buying, er, um Quiltmaking.
My favorite item is the Itty Bitty Kitty Baby Quilt because it’s a beautiful mix of soft minky fabric for the backing and cool retro prints on the front.
Check out her sold items. You don’t want to miss one amazing Sock Monkey Quilt.
The Quilted Lion’s Floral Peony Purse is another great item. It’s got a versatile Asian floral fabric outer layer and a nice green lining.
It seems like her wonderful pieces are selling faster than she can list them!
