Veering to the left a little :)

This is a departure from my usual posts BUT I found out today that there are several people who don't know about this and EVERYONE needs to participate in this if you have kids, neices, nephews, cousins, grandkids - it doesn't matter!!!

My boys have been going to Lowes and Home Depot for their Build and Grow programs since they were 5 - THEY ARE FANTASTIC AND FREE! We did Home Depot when we lived in West Asheville and after we moved here we go to Lowe's. Everyone probably has either of these somewhere near by. You can go to Lowes or Home Depot's websites to locate a store near you!

Your kids get carpenter aprons and a hammer that's all their own. They build one project each time. Both stores offer the program every other Saturday at 10 am. Lowes will accommodate any age - we have seen kids as young as 2 yrs there and they ALL have a great time! My boys talk about it ALL day on Friday! They can't wait for Saturday morning!

It teaches hand/eye coordination, following written and spoken instructions, social skills, teamwork, and the kids get a HUGE since of accomplishment when they complete their projects! The instructor will give them a badge to put on their apron and a certificate saying they completed it!

If you know any kids - you must let them experience this themselves! THEY WILL LOVE IT!!!

Baby items - crochet

Alright so this week I am in love with baby items that are crocheted.

And here is an artist with sooo many adorable things that I want to buy half her store, LOL. But, I still don't know if I am having boy or girl so I am ohhh so trying to be patient. LOL.

She has the cutest hats and the most adorable booties. There is literally just soo many things here that I get lost just looking at the first page, now that isn't a bad thing, because I am lost imagining what my child will look like in these. LOL. I think it is all soo awesome and great.

Here is another with cute hats, I am sure she can make them to fit baby and soo many cute hair accessories too.

An Etsy Kids Team Spotlight- Love 2 Sparkle Boutique

I recently purchased from Love 2 Sparkle Boutique two Going to the Zoo Hair Clips Set Clippies Bow Clips Non Slip. They are so wonderful. In my six non slip hair clips we have a monkey, bear, giraffe, lion, zebra, and pink elephant. They clippies are hand sewn with unbelievable detail. The zebra mane is made of not one straight black ribbon, but about 15 small pieces of ribbon hand sewn on to the zebra’s neck. So much work went into these hair clips.

I am so happy with my purchase from Love 2 Sparkle Boutique!
We gave these to my daughter for her 5th birthday and she fell in love with them. Throughout the day she wore all of them at one point or another. I can’t say enough great things: great communication, very fast shipping, wonderful prices, and such amazing detail and work was put into my daughters hair clips.

Not to mention I love to support shops in my area she lives rather close to me in Springfield, MA so she is also an Etsy Kids Team New England Member.
